Dylan Halverson grew up on job sites. His father spent three decades as a contractor, and Dylan went on to run the retail side of Coastal Cable, his father’s cable railing supply company.
That role gave him something rare in the deck-building world: direct supplier relationships, material costs at source, and daily familiarity with the products he installs.
Island Deck and Rail LLC launched in May 2021 with a straightforward premise: to give homeowners in Island and Skagit County and the surrounding island communities access to modern outdoor spaces without the inflated pricing that premium aesthetics usually carry.
Over 500 completed projects later, that premise has not changed.
